Why did the customer contact us?

The customer reached out to us after being referred by their realtor. During a recent home inspection, it was discovered that the crawl space had fiberglass insulation that needed to be removed due to moisture concerns. The inspector also recommended the installation of a proper vapor barrier to help control ground moisture and prevent future issues. Additionally, signs of mold were identified in the crawl space, prompting the need for professional mold treatment. Based on these findings, the realtor suggested contacting us for a comprehensive solution.

Solutions provided:

We provided the customer with a comprehensive moisture control and insulation solution. First, we removed the existing fiberglass insulation, which can retain moisture and lead to mold growth in crawl spaces. Following the removal, we installed a durable 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor to help prevent ground moisture from rising and affecting the home’s air quality and structural integrity. Finally, we applied Timbor, a borate-based solution, to protect the wood surfaces against mold and fungi, ensuring long-term protection and a healthier crawl space environment.
